You Will Be Responsible For:
Routes scanned documents requiring signature to the appropriate provider.
Accurately scans loose reports into online records.
Analyzes patient records for completeness and accuracy according to department and hospital policy and procedures.
Enters deficiencies into computer for physician completion.
Completes birth certificates and files electronically with the State within required timeframe.
Reviews, corrects, routes transcribed reports in the Staff Review Queue on a timely basis and responds to calls for corrections or questions on dictated/transcribed reports.
What You Will Need:
High school or GED
Reviews medical records after discharge for completeness in compliance with the hospitalâ™s bylaws, TJC, federal and state requirements. Accurately scans all hard copy documents into the patient record. Assures that deficiencies are correctly entered into the deficiency system. Completes birth certificates and files electronically within the State required timeframes. Prepares weekly notifications to providers for deficiency completion.
