Constructs replacement products or parts by fabricating parts; assembling circuits and components; analyzing results.
Tests existing equipment and verify performance by establishing performance and reliability standards; devising and conducting test; setting up equipment and apparatus; adjusting, calibrating, aligning, and modifying circuitry, components, and parts; analyzing results and recommending changes.
Describes systems, components, and operating characteristics and malfunctions by documenting findings, maintaining records.
Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; completing repairs or arranging for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies placing and expediting orders for supplies; and verifying receipts of supplies.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:
Associates degree or equivalent in experience.
2 years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge to build or assemble parts.
Knowledge to repair or replace parts.
Knowledge of current electronic technology.
Knowledge of project management techniques.
Knowledge of customer service techniques.
Skill in operating electronic equipment.
