Aeronautics Systems sector has an opening for a Fire Suppression Technician 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in El Segundo, CA.
The Fire Suppression Technician performs installation, maintenance, and repairs on fire/security systems equipment. Locates and diagnoses failures, replaces defective components, and performs basic troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions.
Performs ESH&M testing and outtage support.
Disable/Enable Fire Life Saftey Systesms
Testing, repair, and certifications of Security Alarms; installation, maintenence, and programming.
General inspections, Load testing, repairs, installation and maintenence on the following: Rollup doors, Turnstiles, UPS, Substations, PA Systems and VFD.
High School Diploma and/or GED with 6+ years of industrial or commercial general maintenance experience
NICET Certification (Level 2) required by AHJ
Experience with reading schematics, maintenance manuals and blueprints
The ability to obtain and maintain a DOD clearance
9+ years' of relevant experience
Aerospace Industry experience
Active DOD Secret Clearance
