Responsibilities

As a Client Services Supervisor in our Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, you’ll lead the customer services team for our Immunogenetics Center. In this important, high-visibility position, you will:

•Oversee operational activities and directly supervise ten lab technicians
•Manage sample procurement, processing, storage, shipping, distribution and tracking
•Oversee pricing, quotes, billing, reporting and communication of test results
•Lead client services team to ensure compliance with clinical testing requirements
•Collaborate with our researchers and external clients to assure effective management of special projects and clinical trials
•Manage data entry/retrieval from the electronic medical record, laboratory management system and biorepository tracking software
•Meet client needs and fulfill the mission of the Immunogenetics Center

Qualifications

•Must have experience in receiving or client services within a clinical laboratory
•Three years of supervisory experience, strongly preferred
•Exceptional planning, problem solving, organizational and supervisory skills
•Ability to troubleshoot issues that arise outside of normal working hours
•Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
