This is a broad-based, full-time opportunity for an audio/video/low voltage technician to be in a Lead position and assume multiple responsibilities for handling technical field operations, including but not limited to both residential and commercial automation system installations, network configurations, distributed audio/video solution implementations, home theater, and media room installations, corporate video conferencing systems, etc. The right candidate for this position will have strong leadership and communication skills to help manage your own install team’s productivity alongside our project manager; will have a good driving record and will be trusted to drive company vans; may occasionally attend walk-throughs with salespeople or systems engineer; will be accountable for your team’s documentation of daily progress on work orders etc; will have opportunities to program control systems such as Control4, Lutron, Crestron, some RTI, etc.; and much more. The right candidate will have a thirst for professional growth in their own career and be excited about contributing to a team that will support you in succeeding in your personal and professional goals! As this is not an exhaustive list, the position may require actions and attendance occasionally outside of normal business hours and, for any projects that are out of town, there will be occasional travel opportunities and we’re looking for someone who will not be adverse to travel. The majority of our work is here in the DFW Metroplex, so you will be given ample notice of any necessary travel arrangements in order to accommodate your personal needs, and all travel-related arrangements and expenses will be handled by the company. A clean driving record and clean criminal background is a must, and having a positive attitude is the most important tool in your toolbox every day with our company!
