Join Sunflower Electric, a generation and transmission utility. This job provides the opportunity to work on transformers and other mechanical equipment in our Great Bend, Kansas Service Center! You will get to assist with the inspection, installation, testing, maintenance and repair of electric transmission and distribution substation equipment including power transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, and various electrical and electronic systems with the majority of the duties involving working with circuits between 48 and 600 volts.
Gain knowledge in reading and understanding construction and manufacturers' drawings and specifications and schematic diagrams and substation drawings.

Two year post high school technical certification in industrial electrical, instrument and control, or electronics; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
One year control circuit wiring and installation experience preferred.
