The Technician B will perform a variety of duties of a routine technical nature in support to the Nuclear Cardiology Lab.
Contact patients to obtain follow-up data and assisting in completing questionnaires about hospitalizations and medical procedures.
Provide data entry into RedCap and various electronic data capture systems and/or case report forms while maintaining confidentiality.
Resolve data queries.
Communicate all protocol-related issues to appropriate study personnel or manager.
Adhere to GCP and FDA/HHS regulations; comply with Columbia University Hospital Policies and Procedures related to Clinical Research.
Preform other related duties as assigned.
Requires a bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics or related science or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Ability to verbally communicate effectively with Physicians, Nurses, Pharmaceutical companies and other team members.
Ability to communicate effectively when reading and writing e-mail, letters and other reports.
Spanish speaking plus.
The candidate selected for this position is required to undergo a drug screening test prior to a final offer of employment being made.
Participation in medical surveillance program
Must successfully complete systems training requirements
