Advertised Job Summary:
Under general supervision, responds to and diagnoses AV problems through discussions with customers using problem recognition, research, isolation, and resolution steps. Working as a technician supervisor, will supervise junior technicians, technicians, and student workers in identifying, troubleshooting, and repairing of classroom technology issues while following all Division of Information Technology's processes and procedures for documentation and accountability. Assist systems designers and programmers, end users, IT personnel, and stakeholders to ensure that systems meet user's needs and are understood by users. Work closely with engineering team in advanced level troubleshooting and repairs of AV and computer technology in the enhanced classrooms and learning spaces, campus wide. Communicate and serve as chief liaison for daily activities related to the support of AV technology in classrooms and learning spaces.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Associates degree in related field and 6 years experience in repair and maintenance of electronic equipment, or high school diploma and 8 years related experience.
