Provides Biomedical support including preventive maintenance and repairs to all Clinical/Patient related equipment at USCUH.
Work-shift hours are 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
Participation on the weekly rotating On-Call schedule is required.
Minimum Education:â¢An AA degree in Biomedical Electronics/Electronics or Bachelorâs Degree in related field is required.Minimum Experience/Knowledge:â¢3 years working experience in the field with a minimum of 1 year in a medium sized hospital as a Biomedical Technician. â¢Knowledgeable of all aspects of Biomedical Engineering. â¢Knowledge of state, Federal, Local and JCAHO codes and standards applicable to the functions of the department is required.Required License/Certification:â¢CBET (Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician) by AAMI preferredâ¢Fire and Safety Certification. If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and maintained by renewal before expiration date.
