We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude, enjoys working with people, and can work in a fast-paced environment.
Obtain physician orders and follow protocols for patient care
Perform diagnostic testing, including but not limited to OCT, VF, Pentacam, IOL Master, and Fundus photos
Assist in office procedures and minor surgeries
Enter physician notes into the patient’s electronic medical record (EMR)
Assist patients with drops, questions, or concerns
Other duties as assigned by manager
Required Skills and Experience:
EMR experience preferred
Ability to work efficiently in a fast- paced environment
Ability to travel to multiple locations
Adhere to HIPPA and other compliance guidelines
High School Diploma
Experience as an ophthalmic tech, medical tech, or medical scribe
Certifications such as COA and/or COT are preferred but not required
