A Santa Fe, NM based tech company is looking for one or more electrical engineers to work on a novel government-funded renewable-energy project. The project involves scaling up an earlier small-scale wind-energy experiment described in https://aip.scitation.org/doi/pdf/10.1063/1.5109776. Interested engineers should send a cover letter explaining why they want to work on this project and a copy of their resume.
Applicants must have experience working with voltages up to 60 kV and powers up to several kW. The project will use a combination of standard and novel power electronics. The work will involve heights up to 80 ft.
Santa Fe Energy Technologies LLC (SFET), is developing a new technology, Solid-state Wind-Energy Transformers (SWETs), that generates electrical power from the wind with no moving parts or fluids.
