Repair and maintenance of two way radios, including mobiles, portables, pagers and other electronic devices in a shop, bench and field environment. Also, includes pickup’s, deliveries, radio installs and troubleshooting of equipment in an assortment of emergency and commercial vehicles as well as assisting with large radio system installations in the field.
Knowledge of two way radio fundamentals and general electronics fundamentals
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Good customer service skills
Ability to use email
Knowledge of the use of hand tools and basic test equipment
Knowledge of using a soldering iron, service monitor, watt meter and other various radio repair equipment and hand tools
Ability to troubleshoot, repair and maintain mobile and portable radios, along with pagers, batteries, and other electronic equipment
General knowledge and understanding in the use of computers for radio programming purposes
General work safety knowledge
Additional Salary Information: Includes benefits of insurance, vacation, personal and sick days. Work days are normally Monday through Friday, 7:30 to 4:30.
