Rockwell Automation is looking for an EMC Technologist with testing setup and troubleshooting experience to join our EMC testing team. You will help test our existing industrial control products, to include Motor Drives, HMI, and Communication devices. Your activities will include configuration of units under test based on test requirements, wiring of devices under test, product qualification testing, data capture, verification of test stations, and report writing. You may also be responsible for acquiring electronic components, instrumentation, and supplies for the test laboratory. You will work on a team comprised of highly experienced technicians and engineers across multiple disciplines to help steward a critical product line through its development and qualification stages. The environment fosters a collaborative and innovative approach to work with teams across the globe. It is dynamic, fast-paced, and requires a highly motivated individual with a passion for product development.
Participating in evaluation teams for design qualification of new and existing Rockwell Automation products.
Designing, developing, and executing test suites for EMC and system level evaluations, individually and in concert with team engineers.
Assisting in special investigatory and/or research test procedures.
Preparing documentation required by departmental procedures and defined by role on evaluation team.
Reviewing customer documentation.
Providing expert guidance in set-up and execution of EMC tests as needed.
Participating in departmental efforts to provide facilities for international EMC standards compliance evaluations
