Responsibilities include but not limited to providing front line support to end users by promptly responding to phone and email support requests. Manage tickets using the IT help desk system and create documentation for all technical issues. Image, configure, install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain enterprise workstations, laptops, tablets, smart phones, multi-function printers other peripheral devices. Modify and fine tune operating systems to obtain compatibility with peripheral hardware and application software. Install and upgrade software as necessary. Support tele-presence and VOIP endpoints. Assist with the coordination of workstation and laptop procurement and disposal/recycling. Assist with maintaining records of hardware assets and software licenses. Assist with the development of training materials and the delivery to end users. Answers support calls, logs calls, documents call resolutions and provides telephone and email based customer service and troubleshooting for CCEC’s computer equipment and related applications. Responds to questions and problems from end-users in a timely and professional manner.
Implementation, distribution, and maintenance of required software, hardware, and electronic resources for CCEC systems and employees as well as CCEC’s IT Services clients. Primary source for phone and help desk support; requiring travel to site locations. Follows policies and procedures and uses own judgment and initiative in solving problems and performing computer support service tasks. Effectively works with end-users to understand their technology specific requirements and find ways to leverage technology to meet their business requirements.
Provides training and support for employees, managers and the board in the use of software and hardware required by the day-to-day operations of CCEC or any IT Services clients.
Assist with the maintenance and usability of communication/network infrastructure including wired, wireless, and fiber networks between offices and the World Wide Web for all locations.
Dispatches and escalates appropriate advanced technical requests to resolve highly technical problems as required.
Availability for on call emergencies and after hours / weekends for system maintenance or for any IT Services client needs.
Control and protect data and resources in accordance with the CCEC Information Security Plan.
Assist with maintaining relationships with IT Services clients in an effort to effectively support their IT needs and potentially increase the number of IT Services clients.
Help track, maintain, and secure adequate levels of IT equipment inventory for both CCEC and its IT Services clients.
Continual and or retraining in software or hardware specific requirements and knowledge due to changes in offered resources.

Supervisory Responsibility None. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demands This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and typical work hours are Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Coos-Curry Electric Cooperative operates on a four/ten work schedule. Travel Ability to travel to the different district offices and client locations required. Occasional travel to training seminars and/or conferences.
Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or closely related field preferred.
Minimum three years of related professional experience required.
