The Security Systems Low Voltage Technician reports to the Senior Integrated Security Systems Technician and is responsible for servicing, installing and maintaining the Boston College security access control and video system; assists with the installs, and upgrades system control panels, initiating and indicating devices and transmission circuits and monitors system performance and executes approved preventive maintenance.

Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $56,700 to $70,900; salary commensurate with relevant experience.
High School Diploma (college courses preferred) or equivalent work experience and a minimum of 3 years of applicable experience.

- Advance CCure 9000 Certifications
- Assa Abloy Wifi Lock Certification (or ability to obtain within first 6 months of employment)
- Genetec Certifications (or ability to obtain within first 6 months of employment)
- Working knowledge of PCs, network hardware, operating systems and software.
- Training, certification and knowledge of CCure, Genetec, Assa Abloy and network-based electronic security and life safety systems.
- Ability to work on call outside of standard working hours when necessary; ability to climb ladders and scaffolding; ability to lift carry or push objects up to 50 lbs.
