As a Jr. Installation Technician, you will perform vehicle installs of public safety equipment, maintenance and troubleshooting on customer equipment, programming and site installations. In this role you will be required to perform installation work of mobile subscriber units into a wide range of vehicles such as police & fire vehicles, work vehicles, mining equipment, construction equipment, and locomotive.
Program and bench test for mobile and portable subscriber units.
Diagnose equipment and complete most installation related or first echelon level repairs independently.
Travel occasionally to multiple locations as required on special project assignments.
Provide own hand tools.
Physical installation/removal of mobile and fixed infrastructure equipment.
Communicate with end user customer.
Maintain inventory and clean install bay area as assigned.
Work along with scheduling, technical and sales team.
General duties as assigned by your supervisor.
