This job provides the opportunity to work on transformers and other mechanical equipment. This job also provides the opportunity to troubleshoot the mechanical and electrical components of a transmission substation.

Summary: Assist with the installation, inspection, testing, and repair of substation equipment including power transformers, load tap changers, high voltage circuit breakers, switchgear, and various electronic systems with the majority of the duties involving working with alternating current (ac) and direct current (dc) circuits between 48 and 600 volts. Assist with compliance testing and documentation.
Top Qualifications: Two year post high school technical certification in industrial electrical, instrument and control, or electronics; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
One year control circuits wiring and installation experience preferred.
