Building Maintenance Engineer I
Perform routine operations maintenance on equipment including start-up and close-down procedures
Evaluate any arising problems (current or that may have occurred the night before) and resolve problems accordingly with assistance and/or supervision as needed.
Perform lighting inspections and keep track of inventory of bulbs, change bulbs, and request assistance for ballast replacements
Perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC and miscellaneous troubleshooting and repairs
Respond to maintenance duties/work orders on premise as they occur
Perform preventative maintenance work on equipment assigned
On call responsibilities on rotating basis and assists in storm preparation

High school diploma or equivalent
1-3 years' experience
Systems Maintenance Technician (SMT) designation or equivalent preferred
Systems Maintenance Administrator (SMA) designation or equivalent preferred
Basic construction knowledge, plumbing, electrical, drywall, floor maintenance, painting, etc., with strong background in building maintenance.
Mechanical ability to operate in a safe manner on all equipment and tools
Clean driving record
Ability to communicate effectively in a business environment
Experience in basic communication tools (phone, email, etc.,
Basic PC skills to employ electronic time card system
