KAMO Electric Cooperative, Inc., (KAMO Power) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Substation Technician. This position will perform highly technical maintenance, testing, repair and replacement of substation equipment and facilities; and install mobile transformers. Qualified candidates should have knowledge of substation maintenance, construction and testing procedures, along with electric power theory. Must be able to read and interpret standard electrical substation layout prints. Salary compensation will be based on selected candidate’s experience and skills.
An Associate’s Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology or related discipline is required, with minimum 4 years of experience in all phases of an electric substation system. Must possess a valid, unrestricted CDL. Must live or be willing to relocate to within 30 minutes commuting distance of the Vinita, Oklahoma work location.
Additional Salary Information: Compensation will be based on current market values and the selected candidate's experience and skills.
