An established electronics manufacturing company, located south of Pittsburgh, is seeking a Test Technician.
In-Circuit Testing: Setup, operate, perform maintenance; document and record defects, troubleshoot and repair circuit boards with minor non-conformities, provide feedback to personnel on quality issues
Functional Testing: Setup, operate, document and record defects, troubleshoot and repair circuit boards with minor non-conformities, provide feedback to personnel on quality issues
Setup and operate X-Ray machine
Perform basic electronics assembly functions assigned to the department
Read and follow assembly specific manufacturing instructions, and test procedures
Interface with Supervisors and Engineering on production scheduling, machine/fixture issues, and work assignments
Follow applicable Company Quality Procedures
Maintain a clean and tidy work environment to 5S standards
AS Degree in Electronics Technology and a minimum of 2 years of electronics testing and troubleshooting experience
J-STD-001 Soldering Certification for SMT and PTH devices
Ability to interpret schematics
Familiarity with operation of standard electrical testing instruments including power supplies, multimeters, and oscilloscopes
Ability to adapt and operate various software to test boards as outlined in specific assembly procedures
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel to complete forms, documents, and spreadsheets
Manex Process Management Software to transfer assemblies, enter defects, and request parts
Keysight/Agilent Medalist ICT Software
Ability to work in a team environment
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, plus possible OT
Additional Salary Information: Pay rate depends on experience
