Essential Qualifications: High school graduate/GED plus at least two years of trade school education or other training in electronics with at least one year of recent experience, or a combination of related experience and education totaling 3 years may be substituted. Some positions may require Licensure by the state of Minnesota to preform electrical work. Preferred Qualifications: • An Associate’s Degree in Electronics. • Experience in the repair of centrifuges, Co2 incubators, pipettes, balances, PCR machines and other equipment found in research & teaching laboratories. • Experience in the calibration & preventative maintenance of research & teaching equipment. • Ability to work with no or limited supervision. • Write standard operating procedures for equipment that is serviced electronic Instrument Services. • Software experience in File Maker Pro, Word & Excel programs. |
