This position reports to the Director of the Institutional Review Board. The Information Research Technician 2 (IRT2) provides support to researchers with submitting their research applications, designs submission forms within the electronic system, conducts initial receipt and review of electronic submissions, and tracks and resolves submissions that require additional items. The IRT2 also tracks expirations of study approval and communicates with researchers to obtain required materials; develops and publishes online materials; maintains Institutional Review Board (IRB) website, edits and publishes newsletters; tracks benchmarking data and compiles data for tracking training requirements for researchers and IRB members. Performs other related duties as assigned.
