The Senior Integrated Security Systems Technician reports to the Manager, Integrated Security and Information Systems and is responsible for configuring, servicing, installing and maintaining the Boston College security access control and video system. This position provides the technical knowledge and skills to ensure system security, stability, and performance; and will assist the Manager with evaluating products and alternatives including costs and risks; supportability and analyses for the department's physical security systems (i.e. access control systems, alarm systems, CCTV, radios, Computer Aided Dispatching, and Incident Management Software). In addition, the Senior Integrated Security Systems Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day operations including responding to service requests and escalations across all servers within the security system environment in collaboration with the Manager and BC ITS system administrators.
Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $59,600 to $74,500; salary commensurate with relevant experience.

Extensive working knowledge of PCs, network hardware, operating systems and software; and working knowledge of NEC rules for low voltage wiring and/or UL 681 intrusion alarms installation.
Training, certification and in-depth knowledge of CCure, Genetec, Assa Abloy and network-based electronic security and life safety systems.
