This position is responsible for the repair maintenance and construction of complex electronic instrumentation utilized in the research and teaching field. The qualified candidate will provide competent technical service and support of laboratory equipment to the Division of Biology. Biomedical equipment experience is acceptable.
Responsibilities / Duties:
Responsible for performing tasks such as installation, diagnosis, repair and maintenance of printed circuit board assemblies utilizing tools such as the multimeter, power supply and oscilloscope.
Responsible for Analyzing failed electronics in laboratory equipment including but not limited to mechanical shakers, biosafety cabinets, water baths, printers, copiers, glassware washers, power supplies, autoclaves, environmental chambers, microscopes, analytical balances and incubators.
Duties also may include designing or modifying electrical and mechanical instrumentation.
