The Relay Protection & Controls Department is seeking an Engineering Technician to fill a full time position at Vinita Headquarters. This candidate should have working knowledge of substation protective relaying and metering design, AutoCAD, Schweitzer Engineering relays, substation equipment, schematics, wiring diagrams, relay event analysis, electric system protection theory, protection equipment testing methods, effective in solving relaying and metering design problems. Candidate should be able to communicate orally and in writing and must be a team player. Good organizational skills and being detail oriented is a must.
Associates of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Electronics Technology is required. 0-3 years of relay and metering experience is preferred. Should have completed or have the ability to complete the TVPPA Metering & Relaying courses.
