SUMMARY We are currently working with an industry leader for the design and production of industrial electronic engine mechanisms and systems in the Fair Oaks area to identify Production Technicians. The goal for this company is to find great employees who want to continue their manufacturing career. Located in a recently built manufacturing facility; the environment is clean and up to date with all the latest technology. This opportunity runs on a daylight shift.
This position is a direct hire opportunity offering a competitive compensation package.
POSITION The Production Technician will be responsible for: • Assembly of various types of products such as wiring harnesses, cables, and electronic alarm and monitoring systems. • Test products during and after the assembly process. • Focus on continuous quality improvement for all products and services. • Responsible for a safe work environment; inspect their work area on a continual basis and take appropriate steps to rectify any hazards • May be required to direct other technicians upon request of management.
REQUIREMENTS • Diploma from a technical institution OR 2 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience required. • Working knowledge of wire cabling / cables required. • Soldering skills for electronic and electrical components needed. • Must be able to understand and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings, and work from these documents. • Must be able to effectively use power and non-power hand tools; drill press, metal cutting devices, semi-automatic press, etc. • Experience with resistance, hi-pot, continuity, and computerized testing using tools such as a digital volt meter and digital multi-meter. • Must be able to measure in both English and Metric units, as well as, ability to convert measurements. • Training to IPC / WHMA standard 620C “Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies” is highly desired. • Must be permanently authorized to work in the US. • Must be able to pass a pre-employment national criminal background check and drug screen.
