UCSC Extension is an open campus that offers the general public three enterprise programs: UCSC Professional Certificate Programs, UC Scout, and Smarter Balanced. There are 36 UCSC Professional Certificate Programs providing workforce development and job training for over 15,000 students annually. UC Scout offers online college prep and Advanced Placement courses for more than 10,000 students around the world. Smarter Balanced uses computer adaptive technology to provide ADA compliant standardized assessments for 7M students nation wide. There are 150 administrative employees and over 340 faculty instructors.
UCSC Extension Instructional Design department is responsible for the development and support of online courses, and administration of the learning management system.
Primary work location is UCSC Silicon Valley Campus, 3175 Bowers Avenue, Santa Clara, CA 95054.
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Demonstrated ability to work with others from diverse backgrounds.
Self-motivated and works independently and as part of a team.
Able to learn effectively and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
Selected candidate will be required to pass a criminal history background check.
