This position installs, maintains, and manages the wireless communications systems for Teton County agencies; coordinates planning and implementation of communications systems and software applications; assures that the technologies used meet the needs of the County.The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent customer service skills. Must have at least four years of experience with radio communication systemsResponsibilities include:- Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot County radio systems. - Maintain multiple wireless radio control system gateways interfacing with phone companies, private networks and local government networks. - Program and test radios and maintain system transmitters and infrastructure.

Teton County is governed by 12 elected officials including the Assessor, Attorney, Clerk, Clerk of Court, Coroner, Sheriff, Treasurer, and a five member Board of County Commissioners. County services include a library, public health, parks & recreation, planning and building, and Fire/EMS services. The county seat is located in the town of Jackson; the only incorporated city within the County. Teton County government employs approximately 350 regular full-time and part-time employees in 18 departments and agencies.
