As a Field Service Technician, you will be exposed to a wide variety of communications systems and requirements. Allcomm is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Scope of Responsibilities/ExpectationsResponsibilities include performing RF coverage and interference troubleshooting for Land Mobile Radio communication sites. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repair, installation and customer training on Motorola and Land Mobile Radio Products. This equipment includes; P25, Conventional, Trunked, Simulcast, Analog and Digital technologies. Troubleshoot Antenna and line systems, Receive Multi-couplers, Transmit Combiners, Duplexers and other RF components.
•Specific Knowledge/Skills 5+ Years experience as an Electronics Technician, system technologist, or field service technician.•One or more industry standard technical certifications required such as CET, A+, Network+ Associates Degree in Electronics, CET, or Military Radio Training a major plus.•Motorola Solutions Astro/Smartzone 7x and MCC series console certification •Strong verbal and written communication skills required. •Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks. Effective time management skills required.•Proficient computer skills with emphasis on windows-based applications. •Excellent ability to characterize and solve problems, collaborate, and make recommendations. •Must work well in a team environment. •Strong understanding of customer satisfaction and business goals. •Desire to cross-train on additional skill sets. •Must be willing to perform night and weekend call out duties.
