We are seeking candidates with proven/strong experience in fiber optic splicing/testing and terminations. Preference will be given to candidates with current (past 12 months) Corning Cable Systems training with the following certifications: CFI/CFTT/CFD. Additional preferences for candidates with experience in IOLM testing/Linkview software and NetTest/Traceview. The ideal candidates will also have a core knowledge of network layout and routing to the layer 3 level. Must possess the skills required to communicate with our clients in a professional manner. Basic computer skills must include: Adobe/Outlook/Excel/Visio. We offer a competitive wage and this is a full time position. The current open position will be Atlanta based, however additional overnight travel will be occasionally required. Current Driver’s License and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience. All construction decisions are made in-house, which allows for optimal control over the project’s schedule and results. World Fiber holds licenses and pre-qualifications as a general, utility and electrical contractor in more than 13 states as well as Certificates of Authority to do work in 22 states.
Maintain – World Fiber’s maintenance capabilities allow us to provide complete turn-key maintenance services to our clients. Not only can we design and construct project solutions, we also offer preventative and responsive maintenance services.
Our most notable maintenance projects include state-wide traffic signal systems for both the Georgia and Florida Departments of Transportation as well as Georgia’s NaviGAtor Advanced Transportation Management System and SRTA Tolling Networks.
