UK Healthcare is seeking an individual with excellent customer services skill to work in an ambulatory lab setting, either in a Physician’s office lab and/or collection site. Individuals should be proficient in collecting specimens from patients of all age groups.
The Medical Lab Technician duties will include registration and scheduling of patients utilizing all appropriate systems and check insurance coverage and eligibility. This position will also manage the release of electronic orders and handle some specimen collection and processing. Individual may perform waived and moderately complex testing.
The candidate must be a team player and be able to take initiative.
