Lien Animal Clinic is seeking an associate veterinarian to join our progressive companion animal hospital in West Seattle, Washington. Our client oriented practice emphasizes compassionate care and high-quality medicine and surgery. We encourage in depth diagnostic work ups and consultation with specialists. The practice has state of the art equipment including digital radiography, in house lab equipment, digital dental radiography, therapy laser, chemotherapy hood, surgical laser, ultrasound and electronic medical records. While most of our patients are cats and dogs, we also see some small furry mammals. Our supportive staff includes licensed technicians who induce anesthesia, take radiographs, draw blood, perform in house lab work, and perform patient treatments so that the doctors can focus on diagnosing and treating patients. All appointments are scheduled with a specific doctor to encourage strong doctor-client relationships. The clinic’s core values are compassion, respect, integrity, quality, teamwork, education, patient advocacy, and enjoyment. We consider these to be guiding principles and attempt to incorporate them in all we do at the clinic. We place a high importance on communication and collaboration between doctors and staff and strive for a positive, caring atmosphere where everyone can do their best work.
Excellent communication skills and a desire to practice high quality medicine and surgery required. Must be ableto work well as part of a team. A good sense of humor and positive outlook on life preferred.
Additional Salary Information: The position offers a generous salary based on level of experience. Benefits include paid vacation, continuing education, license fees and professional dues, and liability coverage.
