Arizona Audio Visual is looking for an experienced lead technician to join our Scottsdale, Arizona team. We offer services to both commercial and residential clients.
Our core philosophy is “Customer Satisfaction at Any Cost”. This is accomplished to a large degree by ensuring that our technicians have the time to do the job right the first time using the best possible equipment.
We currently need a professional that has been in the trenches for some time and is ready to take one of our trucks in the field with a junior technician. It will be your responsibility to mentor, guide and inspire.
Responsibilities and Duties
Representing yourself and our company in a friendly, professional, courteous manner.
Managing and training technicians on the jobsite.
Ensuring that technicians have a safe environment in which to work.
Installation and programming activities typical to commercial and residential AV systems.
Qualifications and Skills
A strong IT and electronics skill set.
Previous experience with Ethernet networking topologies including router and switch configurations.
Directly related experience in performing AV installations.
Experience with using Microsoft Office: Word Excel Etc.
Proven ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve common technical problems.
Must have proficiency with DSP based systems such as, QSC Q-sys, DBX, Crestron, Extron, Biamp, etc.
Must have programming experience with RTI and/or other control systems.
Experience with Digital Signage and media player configuration and deployment preferred.
Experience with CCTV camera system installation and NVR configuration and setup preferred.
Experience with VOIP phone system installation as well as old POTS/PBX systems as well as teleconferencing and video conferencing solutions is a plus.
Experience with HDBT, and Dante.
CTS Certification is a big plus.
Current Safety (OSHA) and Scissor Lift certifications are a plus.
High school education or some college preferred.
Must have current valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Must not have any felony criminal background due to requirements from our customers.
Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check.
Please include pertinent Low voltage Audio, Video, Data training and certifications.
References and previous project history are required.
