ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES As part of the service team, the Radio Programmer will maintain radio communication equipment. •Program two-way radio communications •Organize and maintain programming software applications and hardware, including upgrades •Complete radio programming following industry practices •Archive customer Codeplug data •Maintain detailed knowledge of product base •Troubleshoot technical issues •Other duties as assigned
On-going in house training and industry related training will be provided.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS •Technical School degree or higher with a concentration in electronics •Ability to read work orders and instructions •Strong computer skills with an emphasis in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Physical requirements •Experience using test equipment, such as Network and Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, DMMs, RF Gen. •Self-starter with the ability to work independently with attention to details, complex problem solving •Must possess excellent time-management and strong communication skills •Ability to remain organized while handling multiple projects/tasks •Professional demeanor and excellent work ethic, proficient in customer service •Must possess a clean background screening to include driving record and CORI check
