The National Robotics Engineering Center (NREC) has 20+ years experience developing and deploying robots into many applications across multiple sectors, such as agriculture, construction and humanitarian demining. We strive to provide solutions for real world challenges where automation and robots have great impact in productivity and the labor force's safety/comfort.
We are seeking a qualified Technician with demonstrated experience in electronics, metalworking, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics and machine repair to join our team. Your core responsibilities include:
Independent operation, maintenance, repair and modification of a wide variety of complex robotic vehicles.
Setup and operation of experimental equipment and systems used in research projects.
Field support and maintenance of large electro-mechanical off-road vehicles situated in a variety of outdoor settings.
Field tests will on occasion require night time, weekend and long hours.
Associate's degree required.
1-3 years of of relevant work experience.
Must have experience in support of electro/mechanical product development.
