Description: Entry level, full time position in light manufacturing. The Manufacturing Operations Technician participates in required tasks for final assembly and testing of electronic systems, used primarily in the performance motor vehicle aftermarket.
Company Description: Performance Electronics, Ltd (PE) is an engineering company who is experiencing rapid growth. PE specializes in the design and manufacture of embedded electronic control systems for various industries, but with a strong application in internal combustion engine controls.
Wages & Hours: Full time position. Annual salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience level, with opportunity for year-end, performance-based bonus. Working hours from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, M-F, with the willingness to work additional hours if production schedule requires.
Complete manufacturing and testing tasks for product assembly.
Assemble, troubleshoot and repair printed circuit boards.
Diagnose and repair return merchandise.
Receive vendor inventory and complete receiving checkout procedures.
Identify product quality issues and assist with non-conformance tracking.
Effectively learn and retain key work procedures and document them for future use.
Complete other general technical and production work, and general facilities responsibilities as assigned.
Core responsibilities are subject to change in the future.
A high school diploma or equivalent, at minimum. Associate degree, particularly in Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical field, a plus.
Basic computer skills including the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively and efficiently under delivery deadlines.
A positive attitude, exemplary attendance and being a reliable team player.
