Duties/Responsibilities: The employee in this position performs basic preventive maintenance on buildings, equipment, and related systems, also demonstrates the ability to identify and understand structural, mechanical, and electrical systems. Also, this position includes maintaining and repairing cold rooms, growth chambers and auto claves. The ability to follow written specifications, plans, drawings, codes, etc. Troubleshoot systems using wiring schematics and electronic test instruments; troubleshoot and repair electronic lighting and HVAC systems. Additional duties to include maintenance and repair of various equipment including lifts and other heavy equipment within Zone Maintenance. Assist with lift training. Employee must keep work site and maintenance shop clean and safe.
