Industry leader in providing custom Audio Visual Systems is seeking for a full time Audio Visual Systems Engineer and Designer.
Successful candidates will possesses a combination of customer and technical skills, to join our team in Chesapeake, VA. Responsibilities include partnering with our experienced sales professionals to design integrated mission critical and high profile integrated audio visual, video conferencing, entertainment audiovisual and broadcast systems. Successful candidate needs good communication skill set to interface with clients, architects, contractors, and staff. Travel is required with this position.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a proven track record of previous success in the following
Familiarity with the latest commercial audiovisual, professional audio, videoconferencing and broadcast manufacturers of equipment, including some direct training.
Crestron CSP, QSC Q-SYS and QSControl training preferred.
CTS-D InfoComm Certified preferred.
Strong computer skills including; IT/Networking, Microsoft and Google enterprise software, Connectwise or related .
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
Experience with construction bidding and specification writing related to audiovisual systems.
Self-sufficient, self-motivated, organized, reliable and punctual.
Professional demeanor and good communication skills including the ability to interact well with customers, office personnel, field technicians, project managers, vendors, management, etc.
Excellent work ethic and dedication to schedule commitments.
Ability to travel regularly daily within the primary office area and additionally through the US for customer site surveys and assessments. Travel outside the primary office area could be as much as 30% annually.

A minimum of 5 years experience directly in the field of audiovisual and/or broadcast systems integration.
A minimum of 5 years in Audio Visual engineering, design or commissioning role.
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field, or 5 years experience with Professional Audio or Video Systems.
