This role will be responsible for providing troubleshooting assistance for Rockwell products to customers, Rockwell Automation field office personnel, distributors, and systems integrators. The individual will investigate and verify product problems in software, firmware, hardware and documentation focusing primarily on Automation Control products and industrial networking. The individual is also responsible for contributing to knowledgebase documenting problems, work-arounds, solutions, common how to's, and maintain personal knowledge of Rockwell products and technologies by attending internal and external training classes, reading journals, establishing key contacts in the business units and other relevant vendors.
Diploma / Certificate in Electrical / Electronic engineering or IT or appropriate work experience
Degree level education, in Mechatronics and IT / Computer Science
One year practical application in a customer service technical role, either office or field support.
