We have an immediate opportunity for a Help Desk Technician to join our team in the Dallas area! This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast paced environment. Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills and must be outcome-oriented.
The Help Desk Technician is responsible for providing technical support to on site and remote users for company supported computers, applications, and platforms. This role will also be responsible for troubleshooting problems, taking the appropriate action, and documenting results. The person in this role will also pro-actively identify reoccurring issues and seek to implement appropriate solutions.
Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, electronically.
Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
Advise user on appropriate action.
Respond to requests after hours and on weekends as part of an on call rotation.
Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions.
Complete IT work log daily (capture time spent working support issues/projects).
