Global Tools and Storage is currently seeking candidates for an Electronics Technician based in Towson, MD. Job Specifications: Support Electronics Engineering Innovation projects Prototype/assemble/test electronic controls and circuit boards Perform thermal testing of electronic assemblies Graph and provide basic analysis of test data Document new test procedures; follow and report test plan results. Utilize available resources effectively Effectively communicate status of active programs
Employee Specifications: Associate Degree in Technical Field required OR equivalent work experience 8-10 years experience in Electronics Technician or related position required Must have experience with Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly Must be able to read and interpret designs/schematics Must be able to read schematics and troubleshoot problems Must be proficient with multi-meters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes (digital/multi-channel) Must have data analysis and graphing test data experience Understanding of power tools, motor drives, controllers, and general mechanical principles a plus Must have experience with surface mount soldering, electronics prototyping, and basic failure analysis Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel spreadsheets Excellent communication skills Ability to self delegate tasks from several Engineers Audio/video troubleshooting/repair experience is desirable Component level troubleshooting/repair is desirable
