Job Details: Post-sale installation and maintenance of mobile communication systems. Manages maintenance customer service needs spanning multiple products integrated into a single system configuration. Performs system hardware and software installations on a project basis, plus manages customer service needs through routine system maintenance. Primarily focused on Astro, Digital, and Simulcast Trunking concepts. Basic networking familiarity for the support of Centracom consoles, Data, and E911 products. Multi-site trunked and voting conventional systems, data networks, and dispatch centers. Provides primary point of contact for 2-10 customer sites as well as infrastructure backup for other technologists.Can perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot system issues to ensure system availability. Able to provide technical assistance to others. Understands technology and system functionality. General / Intermediate Knowledge of computer systems including hardware, operating systems, and applications required for troubleshooting, characterization and resolution of issues for technology of responsibility. Ability to coach others in use of PC based tools. General / Intermediate knowledge of RF Test Tools (i.e., Transmission Test sets, signal generators, RF and Spectrum Analyzers).Associates Degree or Technical certificate or military training and 4 years technical work experience.
