Tierney Brothers is seeking to hire a Lead Installer responsible for overseeing the installation of cutting edge audio/visual projects. Clients include fortune 500 corporations, well known higher education and government facilities as well as K-12 educational institutions. This is an opportunity to install the latest technology in audio/video into exciting venues. This position will be based out of our new 50,000+ Square foot headquarters which doubles as a fully integrated showroom. This will involve installation, troubleshooting, training, working with customers, working with internal staff, etc. Additionally, this individual will serve as the PLT on record and the secondary decision maker for the installation team. Install equipment on customer site(s) in accordance with the proposal specifications and design
Mentor, train, and serve as a technical resource to other members of the installation team
Serve as the main contact for customers and project managers while on site
Utilize provided AV System Drawings, to install and connect, tidy and serviceable devices behind displays, in furniture, and in AV system racks
Assist with troubleshooting by verifying and testing cabling, and checking power/signal flow
You will be asked to handle other duties related to the success of a project as needed (providing situation reports, maintaining site inventory, or assisting with deliveries and cleanup)
The right candidate will take on directed tasks quickly and efficiently, ask appropriate clarifying questions, possess effective communication ability, and seek mentorship to develop new skills on the jobsite

Required Education & Experience
Minnesota Power Limited Technician Certificate (PLT)
High school diploma, or GED
A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
Experience with powered and hand tools
Strong written and analytical skills
Two-year certification in electronics or closely related field preferred
Comfortable with word processing and email to clients
AV experience – especially related to audio and control systems
