Familiarity with markets for organic electronic devices and experience in procuring information about such markets
Experience in testing organic semiconductor electronic devices in transistor configurations
Experience in the synthesis of conjugated organic molecules and polymers
Investigate market size, market sectors, corporate customers, and corporate partners for printable, flexible vapor sensor circuit technology based on organic and polymer semiconductors.
Test semiconductor and passive materials, especially organic and polymer semiconductors and polymer dielectrics, in circuits that respond selectively to vapor analytes of interest as compared to interferent vapors.
Synthesize organic and polymer semiconductors using organic synthesis methods as needed for scaleup of the above tests.
Bachelor's degree in related discipline. MPH or MS in relevant field preferred.
Three years of related experience.
Additional graduate/PHD level education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
JHU Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. Additional related experience may substitute for required education on the same basis. For jobs where equivalency is permitted, up to two years of non-related college course work may be applied towards the total minimum education/experience required for the respective job.
Ph.D. in chemistry with a concentration in polymers, plus postdoctoral experience in organic and polymeric electronic materials
