As an Engineer for Rockwell Automation, you will have the opportunity to exercise technical leadership across multiple product developments. You will be a key player in creating architectures from design and implementation through testing and deployment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for embedded software development and identifying creative solutions to complex problems. We are looking for someone with exposure to various software architectures and can easily move among different embedded software projects.
Bachelor degree in a technical discipline (Power Electronics, Motor Control, Industry Automation, or Electrical Engineering etc.).
Technical knowledge of variable speed drives and motor control. Basic knowledge on power conversion, power semiconductor device theory, applied electromagnetic theory, analog and digital circuit, electrical machinery, control, and test/development instrumentation.
With hand-on experiment capability. Familiar with CCS environment and ability in constructing, coding, and debugging basic induction motor control system including hardware and software. The experience is a plus.
Familiar with general simulation tools including Matlab and/or Simplorer.
